So many clients love digitals OR at least think they love digitals ….until they have a USB that they never get round to doing anything with..and who can blame them? Life is busy, we are so full of great intentions, but alas, how many come to fruition?….when I say ‘alas’…I always hear that in the voice of Dumbledore…anyone else?!
Anyway... hear are some tips to help you sell wall art with your next session…
Keep it simple
Too many cooks spoil the broth and too many products kills the sale. Faced with too much choice, we don’t make a choice at all. Its not an easy experience and turns to into a catalogue selling session – no one wants that experience.
Shoot and Print to sell
When shooting, make sure you are also shooting for products that work well with products. Orbs are very specific in what they suit. Do you want to sell orbs? Then shoot something that will blow your clients socks off in an orb format!
Sell the pieces you love
If it doesn’t make your heart sing, don’t sell it. If you don’t love it, why would your clients? If you love something it ABSOLUTLEY shows when you talk about it. Pass that genuine enthusiasm and positivity on to your client.
Show your client what you sell
Your clients cant buy what they cant see. Would you spend hundreds of pounds on a bespoke non refundable item from a description and a ‘it will be roughly this size’ as someone stands holding their hands apart? Nope.
Do In Person Sales
Do you want to add real, genuine value to your experience with your client? Do you want your clients to rave about how you helped them choose the right products? Do you want them to complete their experience with something they absolutely LOVE and will enjoy every day…and be reminded of how you helped them make it possible?
